Paola Vallini lives and works in Tuscany, in a small village near Pisa. She started painting as a young girl. Her first one-artist exhibit, edited by Dino Carlesi, dates back to 1989. In 2000, she joined the contemporary art show “Immagini senza tempo” (Ageless Images) in the historic Datini Palace in Prato.
In 2001, one of Paola Vallini’s paintings “Oltre il sogno” (Beyond The Dream) was chosen for the Premio Nazionale Autore Donna (National Female Artist Award), which takes place in the well-known Pasquini Castle in Castiglioncello, Livorno.
In the same year, she took part in a collective exhibition of Italian artists in Tokyo called Small Art Works and in the Contuscanart exhibition at the American Consulate in Florence, with a trilogy of paintings dedicated to New York.
The Town Council of Ponsacco promoted her personal exhibition Passaggi (Passages) to the old Valli Palace and the publisher CLD released the volume "Paola Vallini, Passaggi," with text by Luca Faccenda, Ilario Luperini and Giovanna Carli, and an introduction by Mariella Zoppi, chairwoman of Tuscan Culture.
Her work “La notte di San Lorenzo” (St. Lorenzo's Night) was included in the ARCI Cinema Calendar of 2002 dedicated to the Taviani brothers' films.
Her painting “Visioni e frammenti” (Visions and Fragments) entered the Contemporary Art Collection of the Regional Council of Tuscany. In order to celebrate Women's Day on March 8th, the artist created a graphic work inspired by the Taviani brothers' film “Resurrezione” (Resurrection).
In 2002, Paola Vallini presented a new exhibition, “Immagini” (Images), at the Modern Art Gallery in Pisa and in that same year started a collaboration with the international society of culture ART'E', located in Bologna.
In 2003, the artist presented “Cieli di Toscana, Omaggio ad Andrea Bocelli” (Tuscan Skies, a Tribute to Andrea Bocelli), an exhibition held at the Magazzini del Sale in Siena, catalogue by Edifir with text by Luca Faccenda. The exhibition was later on display at the Galileo Galilei International Airport in Pisa.
Later, she showed a collection of works called “Nostalgia del presente” (Nostalgia for the Present) at the Chiesa della Spina in Pisa and at the Spa in Casciana. Its catalogue by Bandecchi and Vivaldi was edited by Ilario Luperini and the critical texts were written by Dino Carlesi and Tommaso Paloscia. In that same year, she participated in the group art exibition Artisti a Pontedera (Artists in Pontedera) at the Centro per l'arte Otello Cirri.
Some of her works were chosen by Manifattura di Signa (The Signa Manufactory) to be printed on canvas.
In 2004 Paola Vallini took part in the exhibition Vision Leggiadre (Graceful Vision) at The Casa Carducci (The Carducci Home) in S.Maria a Monte. In the same year, Nicola Micieli introduced the last series of the artist's works “Terre di confine” (Borderlands), catalogue by Bandecchi and Vivaldi, in the ancient Furnace of Sammontana, near Montelupo Fiorentino.
In 2007, Paola Vallini exhibited her works at the Contemporary and Modern Art Fair in Genova and Verona.
In 2008, she took part in a collective exhibition at Galleria d'Arte Contemporanea in Arezzo and a Picture Gallery of the Tuscan Regional Council at Palazzo Panciatichi in Florence. In the same year, she participated in another group exhibition, “Donne in Arte" (Women in Art) at the Galleria Centro D'Arte Moderna in Pisa.
In 2009 the artist’s works were displayed in the group exhibition "Vedo Quadro" (I See Painting) at Villa Pacchiani in Pisa and at the Accademia dei Ravvivati in Piombino. In the same year she showed a collection of works at the historical Torre Medicea in Castiglioncello, Livorno. In November of that same year, her works was exhibited as part of the collection "Artemis," at Palazzo Inquilini in San Miniato, promoted by Carismi for Art.
In 2010, she participated in the collective exhibition “Tratti di Donna” (Woman's Lines) at the Villa Pacchiani, promoted by the Comprensorio del Cuoio and the Provincia di Pisa.
In the same year she took part in the collection "Eva e il pennello proibito: l'arte di essere donna," (Eva and the forbidden paintbrush: the art of being a woman) at the Lari Castle in Pisa.
In 2010/2011 she participated in the group exhibition "50 Pittori Toscani per 50 Cantanti Toscani" (50 Tuscan Painters for 50 Tuscan Singers), with a work dedicated to Petra Magoni. The exhibition took place in different prestigious locations in Tuscany: Palagio di Parte Guelfa in Florence, Pinacoteca Comunale in Volterra, Villa Pacchiani in Santa Croce sull'Arno, Biblioteca San Giorgio in Pistoia, Palazzo Casali in Cortona, Villa Caruso Bellosguardo in Lastra a Signa, Renessans Art Gallery in Florence, Hotel Tower Plaza in Pisa, West Florence Hotel in Campi Bisenzio, Grand Hotel La Pace in Montecatini, Museo Archeologico & Galleria del Teatro Romano in Fiesole, and Palazzo Appiani in Piombino.
In 2012, she took part in the collective exhibition "Carta Common Ground" at Linea Spazio Arte Contemporanea of Florence.
In 2013, Ilario Luperini presented Paola Vallini’s recent cycle of works "Echi di antiche Memorie" (Echoes of Ancient Memories) in the ancient Torre degli Upezzinghi, near Pisa.
In November, the artist received the "Premio di tutte le Arti 2013" (All Arts Award 2013) promoted by the Foundation Elisabetta and the Mariachiara Casini Onlus in the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
In the same year she took part in the New Florence 9th Biannual Edition.
In 2014, she participated in the collective exhibition Fiorgen ARTE Lucca, at Palazzo Guinigi in Lucca. In November she showed a collection of works called "Oltre la porta del tempo" (Beyond Time's Door) at the Galleria Civico Otto in Pescia. In December, she took part in the collective exhibition Dafaral Sa Bop in Dakar, Senegal.
In 2015, Paola Vallini presented a collection of works “Le vie del ritorno" (The Way Back) at the Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence. The exhibition was edited by Filippo Lotti and the text was created by Ilario Luperini.
In 2016 She took part in the collection " Odierni Approdi" at Centro Otello Cirri in Pontedera. The exibition was curated by Ilario Luperini.
In 2017 She exihibited her works "Anime Dentro" at C.R.A Centro Racconta Arte, ex Torre degli Stipendiari in San Miniato ( Pisa), The exibition was curated by Roberto Milani.

...In the latest works of Paola Vallini, which are particularly impressive, primitive strokes emerge, as though the artist were searching for an authentic and genuine world both in the civilization and society in which she lives and also inside of herself. To have made references to the land, to sand, to have worked with sand seems a sort of great return to Mother Earth, to a primeval state, seems a moment of recovery of the profoundness of being, which is one of the characteristics of Paola Vallini's works. Lately she has also acquired a notable mastery of the use of techniques that she has discovered and that she continues to develop little by little by virtue of a profound need for experimentation...
